Install & update

Get packages from the Download page. After install: Reading.

Desktop app

Supported: macOS, Linux, Windows (see the download page for current builds).

1. Open Download → Heyue.
2. Pick your platform and download the installer.
3. Install:
   • macOS: open the .dmg, drag Heyue to Applications.
   • Linux: install the .deb (sudo dpkg -i …) or run the AppImage if offered.
   • Windows: run the .exe installer.

No account is needed to install or use Heyue.

macOS may need right-click → Open the first time (Gatekeeper).

Updates

In the app, open Settings → Updates:

• Check for updates on the public channel
• Optional: auto-check and auto-download (restart still confirms install)

That updates Heyue only — it does not install or upgrade Xiaohe Agent.
