Reading

How to open files, adjust the reader, and export. Overview: Overview.

Open documents

  • File → Open… (or the toolbar) to open a .md file
  • Open Recent for recently opened paths
  • Drag and drop Markdown files onto the window
  • Multiple tabs: switch, close, and optionally restore open tabs on launch (Settings)

Window size, sidebar, and scroll position are remembered per document when a path is known.

Contents sidebar

Toggle the contents pane to browse:

  • TOC — headings from the current file
  • Thumbnails — page-style overview when available

You can collapse TOC sub-levels and resize the sidebar width.

Export

  • Export template choice and Typst / Pandoc binary paths (Auto = PATH, then app-bundled fallback)
