Heshi (Phynexis Viewer)

Heshi is a visualization and rendering scaffold for simulation results. A .viewer project holds the scene and its frames: the browser draws it interactively with three.js, and Blender renders a still from the same scene.

What it is

The project keeps the pipeline and scene documents and points at the raw data; converted frames are a disposable cache. Read a VTK file, an OpenFOAM case or a DEM dump, decide how each channel is drawn, and keep the camera, lighting, terrain and surroundings in one scene document. The simulation is one part of that scene, next to buildings and props.

What it covers

New projects open and build from the desktop app, or from the command line with the same documents. Filter edits — slice, threshold, clip, contour, probe, stream tracer, glyph — recompute in a browser worker while you adjust them, and the Python converter writes the same result into the package. A machine on the tailnet can convert and serve the packages while the viewer renders locally. The PyVista lane uses the same six-key camera, so a shot framed here reproduces there.

What it is not

It is not a ParaView replacement. We keep a small set of nodes for DEM, CFD-DEM and OpenFOAM work, and a package that can be sent to someone and opened in a browser. The goal is to remove the repetitive work between a simulation dump and a scene that can be turned, clipped and rendered.
